Miami, 1975. To climb out of the hole and escape a notorious Miami Beach bookie, Ronnie and his childhood friend devise a betting system that exploits the glamorous, high-stakes sport of Jai Alai, making millions of dollars and enemies of the Boston Mob and Federal Government in the process.
Sherryl Clark will produce the horror thriller, which follows the sole survivor of a plane crash, who washes ashore on a mysterious island where she faces her worst fears.
Justin Rhodes, writer of the Terminator reboot, will adapt Christian Cantrell’s self-published 2010 short story about a CIA analyst trying to solve a series of seemingly random murders.
His original screenplay Beast follows a woman facing off against a bloodthirsty beast after her plane crashes in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
The film follows small-town sheriff Evie Hartley who arrives to find the entire town murdered, except for two missing young siblings. The project hails from Launch Pad’s Nicolina Torres and is the first announcement from Silverman’s new company.
Jon Shestack Productions and Madhouse Entertainment will produce the film for the streaming network.
