In a quick turnaround, Paramount Pictures has acquired the spec Infinite from writer Ian Shorr, the Tracking Board has confirmed. The script only hit the market recently.

Charles Band’s classic horror franchise The Puppet Master is posed to get a modern makeover courtesy of Transformers producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian.

A reboot of the 1989 franchise, the story follows a man who attempts to sell a Puppet Master doll at a convention only to have it and other puppets at the convention come to life and go on a killing spree.

Darren Lemke’s spec for the sci-fi action thriller Arcadia has been picked up by Transformers producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura.
