Maintain a high volume, complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, internally and externally, with multiple parties across multiple time zones.
Log and track incoming pitch submissions and international formats to ensure timely response and accurate record keeping. Maintains weekly tracking grids for all shows in production and development.
Duties include script/Book coverage and research projects, including assisting the development, marketing, Distribution and Sales teams.
Provide support throughout the production processes to ensure success during pre-production, production, and Post Production phases of a project.
Work closely with Production SVP, VPs, directors, managers, and Show production staff to examine the needs of each production.
Manage the process and flow of content submission – log, track, and evaluate all incoming material (including pitches, scripts, books, etc.)
Manage an active slate of development projects and actively support SVP live-action Series & Film in maintaining a pipeline of compelling, engaging and producible content.
Reading script submissions and providing written summaries and recommendations for development executives.
Track and evaluate all incoming IP and provide written recommendations for development in the live action scripted space (including series, theatrical and ancillary revenue streams).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: scheduling a high volume of meetings and calls for two executives; interfacing and scheduling for clients; performing and organizing script coverage; tracking writers and directors; managing and tracking submissions of Finance/producing projects.
Develop successful programming strategies using ingenuity and all available tools, including research and insights.
Serve as lead problem solver with TV studio and outside producers on all production issues from prep through production and post. Liaise with each network/cable/Streaming partner on all notes for scripts, outlines, and written materials.
Structure, negotiate and execute mid to large-sized deals for inbound Film/TV rights needed for projects on the platform, as well as negotiate deals at Networks/Streamers/Buyers when we sell our Audio to 3rd party financiers.
