Brendan Gleeson is set to star in a new crime comedy entitled Mr. Cranky. Jonathan Teplitzky is attached to direct with a script from Chris Nyst.

Follows a crime boss who, after the death of his ex-girlfriend, finds himself charged with taking care of her seven-year-old daughter.

Logline: A judge is kidnapped by a man who claims that an innocent man was recently sentenced to death by the judge. The kidnapper streams the hostage situation live on the internet as authorities scramble to locate the judge.
