Star Wars: The Force Awakens breakout star Daisy Ridley has landed a role in the adaptation of Alyson Richman’s novel, The Lost Wife.

In a future society where people are deemed ‘flawed’ by courts and branded with an ‘F’, a teenage girl unwittingly becomes the leader of a new civil rights movement when she dares to help an elderly ‘Flawed’ person on a bus.

Sources have confirmed to The Tracking Board that Warner Brothers and Wendy Finerman Productions are in development with a new dystopian drama, Flawed, an adaptation of the yet-to-be-released novel of the same name from bestselling author Cecelia Ahern.

Logline: When newlywed marriage counselor Ava learns that her parents, whose marriage she’s always idealized, are headed for divorce, she cannot accept it. Ava sets out on a dangerous path to save her parents’ marriage at the expense of her own, manipulating loved ones to achieve her objectives.
