Sandel is in talks to helm the feature adaptation of the mega-popular Mattel toy line, which has been in development since 2009. The female-skewing series focuses on the teenage offspring of all the iconic monsters, including Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein’s monster, the Mummy, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
