The upcoming comedy Naked from producer and actor Marlon Wayans has landed at Netflix for a global streaming premiere in 2017, with production set to start next month in South Carolina. The film is a remake of the 2000 Swedish comedy Naken from Mårten and Torkel Knutsson.

Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans is developing Naked, a new project with Rick Alvarez, whom he often collaborates with, and Todd Garner. All three are set to produce the American remake, which is currently in pre-production and slated to start production this fall. Wayans will also star as the lead character.

Logline: Pitched as being in the vein of “Old School,” the story centers on an insurance salesman who vows to run naked from Santa Monica to Studio City to prove himself to his wife and try to save their failing marriage.
