Nic Pizzolatto Teams Up with David Milch for “True Detective” on Season Three
After hanging out in hiatus since its poorly reviewed second season, True Detective season three may finally be on the move as creator Nic Pizzolatto is reportedly teaming up with Deadwood‘s David Milch for the new episodes. The third season is still waiting on an official series order.

If all goes according to plan, actor Robert Downey, Jr. might soon be able to add TV star to his resume. He is currently in talks with the creator behind True Detective, Nic Pizzolatto, to develop a new drama series at cable giant HBO.
With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue, the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers, and hired guns. As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.
