The Tracking of a Russian Spy based on Mitch Swenson’s novella of the same name, has found its director in Nima Nourizadeh.

Coming off directing Star Trek Beyond, Justin Lin and his production company Perfect Storm Entertainment are set to produce Revenge at a Wedding, a new dark comedy helmed by Nima Nourizadeh.

The story follows the romance between a young man whose whole family is part of the Irish mob in Boston and a young woman whose father is the head of the opposing Russian mob.

A stoner and his girlfriend’s sleepy, small-town existence is disrupted when his past comes back to haunt him in the form of a government operation set to wipe him out.

Logline: Adapted from the true-story novella of journalist Mitch Swenson, detailing his quest to track down a mysterious Russian woman with whom with he had a torrid romance, taking him deep into the secret shadow governments of Russia.

Logline: A stoner’s past catches up with him when he and his girlfriend are hunted by government agents tasked with silencing both of them.

Logline: When an all-American college kid is busted for drugs, he secretly becomes an informant for the police, helping them bust criminals while continuing his ordinary life at school.
