The writer of The Value Shopping Network leverages her hilarious pilot to sign with manager Sarah Dodge at Industry Entertainment.

Logline: Bailey is a well-meaning sweetheart who’s dumped by his girlfriend and learns he has testicular cancer (again). Darla is a cynical reporter whose sex addiction is getting in the way of her sex column. Then Darla has an idea, taking Bailey on an impromptu road trip across the U.S., recreating each of her myriad sexual experiences from state to state. She’s looking for a story and he’s looking for a last hurrah; what they find is something neither expected.

Logline: Two co-dependent female best friends have their friendship put through the wringer after a blind date gone awry sends them on a dangerous, all-in-one-night adventure with a drug dealer.

Inspired by the actual events of the CIA’s failed Operation Mongoose in 1960s Cuba, the film is tonally in the vein of JAMES BOND meets ARGO.
