Oscar-winner Barry Jenkins has set his first post-Moonlight feature film with an adaptation of If Beale Street Could Talk for Annapurna Pictures. The project is based on the novel by James Baldwin and has been an interest of Jenkins for years after he wrote the script in 2013.
