Field pitches, identify trends, and help establish the strategic development goals for the Comedy department. Oversee the development of internal formats, from initial idea or concept through to creation of episodic bible.

Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy aligned with Embassy Row’s content. Brainstorm, identify, and evaluate potential projects.

Work closely with production execs and finance to establish schedule and budget for each production.

Researching actors for our shows, creating lists for upcoming series. Tracking new and up and coming actors. Assisting executives in tests, table reads and studio sessions.

The primary responsibilities are to support project development by reading and analyzing Creative material, presenting feedback and participating on Creative conference calls/meetings.

Read scripts, review dailies, summarize notes from development meetings/calls. Provide organizational and administrative support to the department executives.

Aside from standard assistant duties, you will be able to do Creative work on our projects and work with the development team, learn in-depth about the business side of entertainment, and be exposed to the production process/set etc.

Provide support to Creative team on various Creative development projects including: writing coverage on prospective ideas; taking and compiling notes during meetings; tracking and summarizing market trends/broadcaster line-ups.

Maintain production paperwork for multiple series. Staff & Crew Lists. Outlines. Scripts & Revisions (collate scripts).

Provide organizational and administrative support to the President and other execs as needed, anticipating needs of the executive(s) and always being two steps ahead.

Tracking, reading, and doing coverage on incoming material. Seeking out new writers/directors/IP for the department to pursue.

The assistant will be a key member of a fast-paced team that makes deals to develop, produce, and license content for the TV Studio.

Serve as lead problem solver with TV studio and outside producers on all production issues from prep through production and post. Liaise with each network/cable/Streaming partner on all notes for scripts, outlines, and written materials.

Full range of administrative support for department including handling phones, calendar, filing, drafting correspondence, and meeting coordination. Also support production needs for any assigned shows.

Oversee planning and production, from pre-production through final delivery. Work closely with production executives and Finance to establish schedule and budget for each production.

Coordinate with Creative Producers and Production Management to prepare daily and weekly to-do lists in accordance with production deadlines.

The candidate must have previous Assistant experience at a network, streamer, agency or Production Company.
