Writer/director Richard Bates Jr. has just finished wrapping up his third feature, Trash Fire, a psychological horror comedy described as a combination of Psycho and Harold and Maude.

After being kicked out of his apartment, an awkward paranormal medium returns home to a dysfunctional family only to find that a vengeful ghost is terrorizing the town and it falls to him and a local bartender to solve the mystery and save the town.
