Season 1, Episode 7 – Becky welcomes someone new to Sun Records as Elvis Presley’s popularity grows. Col. Parker meets Elvis for the first time and begins his quest for management. Johnny Cash returns from Germany, marries Vivian and settles in to domestic life. Jerry Lee gets expelled from the bible institute and his marriage, but finds his bliss selling brushes door-to-door.
Season 1, Episode 6 –Sam bets the house on Sun Records when he takes his latest hit singer on the road. Col. Parker continues his losing streak and competes against his loan shark for a lucrative real-estate deal. Johnny Cash loses a good friend while Jerry Lee loses his mind after he marries Peggy.
Season 1, Episode 5 – Marion finds talent for Sun Records as Sam considers packing up and returning to Birmingham. Elvis wants to make a record to give his mama for her birthday. Johnny Cash proposes to Vivian. Dewey lets a naughty word slip and gets busted by the FCC while Col. Parker makes more bad bets and a costly mistake.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Elvis makes his first stop at Sun Records while Sam takes drastic measures to deal with his destructive behavior. Jerry Lee and Jimmy Swaggart compete for Peggy. Col. Parker gets creative generating revenue at Hank Snow concerts and Johnny Cash travels to an East Berlin brothel for his first time.
Season 1, Episode 3 – Ike Turner brings his band to Sun Records to make a record exactly when Sam is desperate for a hit, but he tries a different label when Joe Bihari stops returning his calls. Johnny Cash sings at Oktoberfest while stationed in Germany and begins writing about his prison. Elvis follows his love for the music that moves him.
