Superstore only has two more episodes left in its trimmed first season, with no word from the network on its renewal status. Both NBC’s The Office and Parks and Recreation had faltering freshman seasons, but grew into their own in their second. Hopefully NBC gives Superstore the chance to do the same.

Superstore is rolling along nicely and the show is turning out to be a sweet show with a very strong cast of comedic actors. Like dating, I have reached a point with Superstore, where I am ready to commit. It is the seventh episode, after all.

This week the Cloud 9 crew had a lot to handle: a death in the store, a shoplifter who refused to confess, and the growing pains of pre-teen girl’s adolescence…otherwise known as “what to do (and what not to do) when a girl gets her first period.” Better still, it’s the first episode of Superstore where we finally feel the heartfelt camaraderie of the team.
