Season 5, Episode 9 – The episode offers a heartwarming moment between father and sons, as well as mother and daughter.
Season 5, Episode 8 – Adam refuses to learn how to drive while Barry teaches Erica how to do college in this week’s more sweet than funny episode.
Season 5, Episode 7 – It’s Thanksgiving once again, and that means E.T. and get-rich-quick schemes for the Goldberg family.
Season 4, Episode 23 – The Goldbergs tackle sibling disputes in “Jedi Master Adam Skywalker.” Adam takes on responsibility helping create the yearbook and Erica and Barry find themselves at his mercy when they decide they need to know who won “Cutest Couple.”
Season 4, Episode 22 – The Goldbergs reminds us that the Cold War and threat of a nuclear fallout was a real thing in “The Day After The Day After.” With Mother’s Day around the corner as well, Adam and Erica both try to take advantage of Beverly’s love of the holiday to get what they want.
Season 4, Episode 21 – The Goldbergs delivers its funniest episode as of yet this season in “Fonzie Scheme.” With Erica heading off to college soon, the boys must find a way to get themselves out of trouble without her, and Murray looks for a hobby at Beverly’s request.
Season 4, Episode 19 – The Goldbergs proves yet again that the show still packs a humorous punchline in “A Night to Remember.” With several laugh-out-loud moments involving absurd character traits, the show continues to build strength in its humor as the season begins to wind down.
Season 4, Episode 15 – The Goldbergs adds another installment to the Erica/Geoff love story in “So Swayze It’s Crazy.” With three strong storylines, the jokes are good, but finding the answer to the whether or not Erica and Geoff get together is better.
Season 4, Episode 13 – It’s Valentine’s Day, which is thankfully the catalyst it took to finally shake Erica, pining over Geoff, out of her season-long depression. Adam deals with his own relationship problems, as he fears he’s losing his best friend Chad.
Season 4, Episode 11 – The Goldbergs tackles sexism and science in “O Captain! My Captain!.” With what feels like a thinly veiled commentary on how women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized, the episode pays homage to many classic sitcoms in its effort to tackle a topical issue in a funny way.
