NBC will continue their foray into live musicals with the Broadway classic Bye Bye Birdie. The live rendition will star Jennifer Lopez and is set to air during the holiday season of next year.

Shades of Blue star Jennifer Lopez is reteaming with NBC for a new series, C.R.I.S.P.R., with a script order. The series is a procedural with a futuristic twist and has Bates Motel’s Anthony Cipriano attached to the script.

Actor, dancer, singer, and former American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is adding more to her resume with a yet-to-be-titled legal drama in development at CBS. Lopez is attached to serve as executive producer of the series from Michael Rauch.

NBC has greenlit the new series, titled World of Dance, with ten episodes. Triple-threat Jennifer Lopez is teaming with the network and global media company World of Dance to bring the series to life. She will executive produce, but it is unknown if she will appear on-screen at all.

Andy Tennant is attached to helm the romantic comedy.

Ed Helms has also boarded the project with Isla Fisher circling.
