What an excellent series and what a thrilling conclusion. The Night Manager ends its run with an extremely satisfying episode that masterfully builds tension before another literally explosive climax.
In the excellent series’ best episode yet, we see the full power of Roper’s weapons in a breath-taking display, Roper attempts to sniff out the rat, and Pine takes the most drastic measures yet to preserve his cover.
The Night Manager has made it easy to be seduced by Roper, but this episode, we’re reminded of the horrific consequences of his actions.
We’re halfway through The Night Manager and though the plot is still unfolding at a slow, deliberate pace, we do get some exciting developments. Pine gets drawn deeper into Roper’s shady world, getting cornered into signing a contract and joining one of Roper’s shell companies, replacing poor Corcoran.
