Guy Pearce is set to star in the newly titled eight-episode supernatural drama series The Innocents.

The Big Hero 6″ star will play Garfield “Gar” Logan, the DC comic book superhero.

The series from Warner Bros. TV is set to bow in 2018 as part of a new direct-to-consumer digital service from the WB. He joins previously cast Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, and Teagan Croft.

The series hails from Warner Bros. TV and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Akiva Goldsman and DC Entertainment’s Geoff Johns.
