Ben Wheatley & Tom Hiddleston Look to Reunite for “Hard Boiled” Adaptation
High-Rise‘s director and star, Ben Wheatley and Tom Hiddleston, are on the hunt for a new project to work on together and circling Frank Miller’s comic Hard Boiled. The project is based out of studio Warner Bros.
Centers on insurance investigator Carl Seltz, who learns that he’s really a homicidal cyborg tax collector codenamed Nixon. A fellow robot informs him that he’s the last hope for their race to escape their programmed slavery.
An action/adventure story centered on King Kong’s origins.
The nominees for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced today, and with no surprise, HBO took the top spot raking in 22 nominations while ABC and Netflix tied for second with 14 nods. With critically acclaimed shows like The Americans, the new Donald Glover comedy Atlanta, and the uber-successful The People Vs. OJ Simpson FX ranked fourth. 
Animated comedy Early Man has added Tom Hiddleston. He joins previously cast Eddie Redmayne. The film marks Oscar-winner Nick Park’s first animated feature in over ten years.
