The second installment of Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story anthology about Hurricane Katrina yes yet to debut, but that doesn’t mean Murphy-o-philes can’t get excited about the third season titled Versace: American Crime Story which will explore the 1997 assassination of legendary fashion designer Gianni Versace. The cast is shaping up with some impressive names and Ricky Martin is the latest to be added to that list.
Coincidentally, Cruz was once poised to star in another project about a slain fashion icon, as she was in line to play Maurizio Gucci’s ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani in the Ridley Scott-produced movie Gucci.
