The Assistant will provide support to an Agent in CAA’s Television Scripted Department representing directors, producers, writers and showrunners within the International space.
Keep submission logs as necessary, which track: project name, date received, auspices, logline, and sender/submitting Agent and prepare submission logs for submission before creative.
As an intern for our film and television divisions, you will be a vital part of the team as we evaluate new ideas, develop them into salable projects, and ultimately produce films and television shows.
The Assistant will also work closely with various departments across the agency (such as Accounting and Business Affairs). The ideal candidate will have a passion for scripted television and artist representation in the entertainment business.
Solicit and evaluate source material from producers and agents for original programming development.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in comedy, development, and management.
Must know movies / TV / digital media inside and out, be a creative and original thinker with taste, and have a very strong and savvy business sense.
Must have a combination of proven development, sales, and production experience with a deep knowledge and understanding of the Latin American market.
