This position will require frequent requests to read and provide opinions on material in addition to managing day-today administrative functions and support.
Work closely with Network Originals team to support a growing pipeline of movies for our network and Streaming partners.
This role will be responsible for evaluating, developing, pitching and selling projects based on internal IP as well as external projects.
Manage projects on the Four-quadrant and YA Film and TV slate to shepherd a robust development and production pipeline across the Four-quadrant Family and YA/Young Adult categories.
Responsible for developing and helping oversee pilot production of new Comedy, Limited Series and Drama Scripted Series.
Basic duties include high volume scheduling/rolling calls, submitting materials for development/staffing considerations, managing clients’ and managers’ calendars.
Need someone who is fast, can multi-task, pay attention to details, communicate effectively, and keep a calm demeanor under pressure.
Work with show creators to build worlds, flesh out characters, develop story engine, and establish design.
Work hand-in-hand with development to successfully transition projects to ongoing series production and then guide the Creative vision going forward.
Primary responsibilities include maintaining digital files, telephone and office assistance, scheduling appointments, and preparation/organization of agreements.
Field pitches, identify trends, and help establish the strategic development goals.
Exemplary communication skills, attention to detail, and an upbeat personality are a must.
Attend writer’s meetings and prepare follow-up notes. Transcribe notes into correct format for submission to network. Proofread, revise and re-work premises, outlines and scripts.
Assist with creative quality and help shape content through all stages of the production process to the model established during development.
Ability to deal with high profile studio/network executives, producers and managers while understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism. Reading scripts.
Ideal candidate should be detail-oriented self-starters with a desire to become a manager.
Candidate must be able to maintain a calm, professional manner while juggling multiple tasks, and be comfortable answering phones/interfacing with clients.
Serve as first point of contact with clients, agents and executives. Provide significant script coverage for client pitches.
Provide creative feedback (written and oral) during the pitch/script development process and during the ongoing production.
Provide administrative support to the development team, including scheduling for all department executives, managing department calendar, and coordinating company-wide schedules for optimum department efficiency.
Take and organize notes for writers of the company’s projects. Read, vet, and report back on incoming material (including writing coverage).
This role will be primarily focused on representing an existing roster of talent and requires a firm understanding of the workings of the entertainment industry.
Duties include heavy phones, scheduling meetings, digital filing, creating booking slips, tracking client payments, data gathering/entry, expense tracking, reading and giving feedback on scripts, and office administrative work.
Organize contact lists of writers, producers, creative executives and any related correspondence as needed. Read and watch material and provide feedback as necessary.
Assistant will manage busy desks while interacting with A-list clients, networks/streamers, and brands.
Take pitches from outside producers and writers; review and discuss all submitted material for development; follow up and respond to solicited materials.
Strong creative and communication skills with regard to evaluating and giving notes on scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, casting, music and mixes. Proven knowledge of story and script structure.
Responsibilities include full commissions as well as co-productions ensuring timely, efficient, on-brand delivery of new and returning long form Series at the maximum level of quality permitted by budgeted regional production assumptions.
Manage FX’s Half-hour Comedy slate including live-action and Animation. Oversee the script development process, department tracking documents and production pipelines.
