EXCLUSIVE 〉Moran to direct the horror film Raven Court for The Film and Tea Shop.
James Moran will direct the upcoming horror film RAVEN COURT. This tense and dramatic feature from writer Richard Hobley follows Grace, who, after her husband is brutally murdered, is given the impossible opportunity to bring him back from the dead, but with horrific, terrible consequences. The Tea Shop & Film Company is producing with Jon Kanak, James Harris and Mark Lane attached. Kanak, through Jon Kanak Management, took the original spec out.
Moran is repped by Carlie Ferraro at UTA, and Nate Matteson and Peter Hugh at Gotham Group.
Moran is well-versed in the horror genre, having worked on the productions for Sinister 2, Quarantine, and Paranormal Activity 2. He just directed the horror flick Marble Hornets: The Operator for producer Jimmy Miller and Mosaic. Based on the popular web series “Marble Hornets” from Joseph DeLage and Troy Wagner, the tense and shocking horror film centers on group of student film makers who are creating “Project Marble Hornets” when the production is interrupted by a series of paranormal events. Ian Shorr penned the script.
