{TB EXCLUSIVE} Launch Pad Writer Santa Sierra Signs with ICM

Congratulations to another member of our TB community, writer Santa Sierra, who has just signed with agent Brandy Rivers at ICM! Sierra, who earned a TB Recommends in 2013 with her comedy pilot Growing Up Morales, signed with manager Bryan Brucks at Luber Roklin following that announcement, and was quickly tapped by Amazon to rewrite their upcoming project Chico Grande. Growing Up Morales also landed Sierra a spot on the 2013 Young & Hungry List.

Sierra also wrote the coming-of-age drama spec In Search of Our Father, Sylvester Stallone. She was recently highlighted in her hometown paper, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, for the spec, and a staged reading of her script was presented in the Central Square Theater in Cambridge, MA.

We’re excited to see everything Sierra has done this year, and we’re eager to see what she has in store for 2015. With the announcement of our Top 25 writers for the 2014 Launch Pad Features Competition, look for lots more news and updates on our Launch Pad writers all this week.
