It’s the musical edition of The Best of Last Week in TV! The quiet “Beatle” makes his way to “Conan,” “Frozen” makes an appearance on “Glee” and “The Tonight Show” makes the morning announcements. And you’ll be whistling while you shop for “Lost” gear on the online auction for charity. Some of these songs will get stuck in your head. You’ve been warned.
George Harrison Week on CONAN
In honor of the release of the reissue of George Harrison’s six solo albums, Conan O’Brien is celebrating with a weeklong tribute to one of the Fab Four. The CD is called “George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75” and is set to be released September 22. Norah Jones, Beck, and Harrison’s son Dhani Harrison will be performing on CONAN the week of September 22-25 to celebrate the late, great Harrison. It’s going to be something.
GLEE Has “Frozen” Fever
Lea Michele, who plays Rachel on Fox’s “Glee,” announced via Twitter that she will sing Frozen’s “Let It Go” on the last season of the series. It seems particularly fitting as Rachel’s birth mother on the show was played by none other than “Frozen’s” Elsa, Idina Menzel. Check out the picture she posted and try not to let the song get stuck in your head…again.
