{TB Talks TV} Comic Con Preview

By: &

This year The Tracking Board is sending us (Maggie & Sammy) to Comic Con! We’re pretty excited, but also quite nervous because, although Tracking Board has had a presence at the Con for years, this will be our first time. We know (sort of) what to expect, but we’re sure to be surprised once we get there. Here’s what you can expect from us: we’ve got a packed (tentative) schedule planned, which includes big panels like “Game of Thrones,” “The Walking Dead,” and “Orphan Black.” Of course, since we are , we’ll be focusing on everything TV-related, but if we get the chance to sneak in for a peek at one of Benedict Cumberbatch’s panels…well, we’ll see what we can do.

Offsite, there will be a ton of stuff going on, too. We’ve heard that TNT is hosting a “Last Ship” party on the USS Midway aircraft carrier and they’ve got a “Walking Dead”-themed maze at Petco Park. Fox’s new show “Gotham” has a zip line for aerial crowd views between the Convention Center and the Hilton Bayfront. There’s even a “Dig” scavenger hunt throughout the city and if fans can spot and snapchat clues, they’ll get a change to meet showrunner Tim Kring. If there’s time left, we may get our nerd on at the Nerd HQ at Petco Park. We’ll try to make it to as much as we can, but as you can see from our party grid, the fun never ends at SDCC!

Sure, it’s a little ambitious, but we’re braving mile long lines and crazy costumed crowds so you don’t have to. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy Comic Con! Seriously, guys, stay home so we don’t have to wait in such a long line…

  1. Appreciating the hard work you put into your website and
detailed information you provide. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed material.

Great read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS
    feeds to my Google account.
