Dylan O’Brien is in talks to join the cast of the Peter Berg drama DEEPWATER HORIZON. He will join Mark Wahlberg and Gina Rodriguez in the story following the BP oil rig spill that killed eleven people in 2010, becoming the largest offshore oil spill in the history of the United States.The film is based on the New York Times article Deepwater Horizon’s Final Hour by David Barstow, David Rohde and Stephanie Saul.
O’Brien stars on the MTV series Teen Wolf and starred in the adaptation of the YA novel The Maze Runner. He is set to star in the upcoming sequel The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
O’Brien is repped by WME and Principal Entertainment LA.
