has joined the cast of opposite Christoph Waltz, Amy Adams, Krysten Ritter, Danny Huston and Jason Schwartzman. An impressive list already. Project is based on the true story of painter Margaret Keane (Ritter) and her husband, Walter (Waltz), and the debate following their divorce as to who actually painted her pictures. Stamp will play John Canaday, the elitist and exasperated senior art critic for the Times.

Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski wrote the script and will produce with Lynette Howell. Tim Burton is helming.

Stamp has been in a ton of movies and means something different to different people. You might remember him as a certain General Zod In “Superman” & “Superman II.” He was last in “Unfinished Song” and will next appear in “The Art of the Steal.”
