The film follows the origins of the deranged serial killer from his time as a patient, to the events of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The film takes place in the 70’s with Leatherface as a teenager, and stars Stephen Dorff as Hal Hartman, an officer that takes on the investigation to track down the title character.
