The 2016 Launch Pad Pilots Competition: Announcing The Top 25!

The Tracking Board is incredibly pleased to announce the TOP 25 SEMI-FINALISTS for our 2016 Launch Pad Pilots Competition.
With over 156 writers signed, 51 projects set up and 21 writers staffed since we began our competition, we’re thrilled to introduce you to the next batch of contenders for this year’s Pilots Competition.
This year’s Top 25 make up the Top 2% of all those entered, and are comprised of a wonderfully diverse group of stories and writers, with 13 dramas and 12 comedies making the cut, from 19 female writers and 10 male writers including 2 female writing teams and 2 female/male writing teams. The Top 25 scripts hail from 3 countries – the US, Canada, and Scotland – with 3 period pieces and 22 projects set in either contemporary times or in futuristic worlds.
This year’s pilots collectively deliver us stories filled with hope, despair, engagements, deaths, aliens, sociopaths, fairytales, sci-fis, vampires, empresses, high school, adulthood, ice-skating, baseball and believe it or not… curling.
