CBS is fortifying its fall 2017 schedule with comedy and military-crime. The new Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon will run behind its predecessor on Thursday nights starting November 2 — prior to that date, The Big Bang Theory will air on Monday nights while NFL football dominates Thursday nights. Mom and Life in Pieces will follow the two Big Bang Theory shows as lead-ins to the new drama SWAT, which is one of two new military-based action dramas the network is launching. The other is the David Boreanaz-led SEAL Team coming in right behind the still-solid Survivor.
Elsewhere, Tuesday remains the same NCIS and Bull block, while Elementary being bumped to midseason has shuffled Sunday nights and allowed for the network’s third and final new drama Wisdom of the Crowd to take the 8 pm slot.
