With the Cannes Film Festival just short of a month away, organizers have released the Official Selection for the 69th festival today. The unveiling was made at Paris’ UGC Normandie cinema on the Champs-Elysees by Chief Thierry Fremaux and President Pierre Lescure.
Woody Allen’s Cafe Society is set to open the fest. The closing night film slot has been removed with the winner of the Palme d’Or shown instead. The festival begins May 11.
