CAROL scored big at the 2015 Toronto Film Critics Association’s Awards. The Todd Haynes romance about the relationship between a department-store clerk (Rooney Mara) and a married woman (Cate Blanchett) continued its strong run on the end of the year awards circuit by nabbing Best Picture and Best Director.
Tom Hardy took home his first Best Actor award of the season for his dual portrayal of London gangsters Ronnie and Reggie Kray in LEGEND, while Nina Hoss earned Best Actress for her performance as a Holocaust survivor in the historical drama, PHOENIX.
The awards themselves will be handed out at a ceremony this upcoming January.
