We’re just ten days away from the streaming premiere of Will Smith’s police fantasy-thriller Bright on , and the streaming service has released a final trailer for David (Suicide Squad) Ayer’s spin on police dramas, co-starring Joel Edgerton.

The police action film is set in an alternate place where humans, orcs, elves and fairies all co-exist together, and the exploits of two police officers, Ward (Smith) and his Orc partner Jakoby (Edgerton) as they go on patrol and discover something that will affect the future of their world.

Bright is written by Max Landis (Chronicle) and directed by Ayer, who produced the film with Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless. It co-stars Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, Margaret Cho and Ike Barinholtz.

The movie could be a gamechanger for the streaming network because Smith is the biggest star who has done a movie specifically for . It also won’t be playing in theaters, which are going to be chock-full of new releases and holiday moviegoers. With people having so much time off over the holidays, there should be plenty of time to catch one more movie without leaving the house, although in some ways, the movie seems like another gauntlet thrown down by .
