Red Rover and Toonbox Entertainment have found a batch of actors to lend their voices to Peter Lepeniotis’ upcoming animated comedy THE NUT JOB.
Katherine Heigl, Will Arnett, Brendan Fraser, Stephen Lang, Sarah Gadon, and Jeff Dunham will all have their voices featured in the film, which is based on Lepeniotis’ short pic “Surly Squirrel” and focuses on Surly the squirrel and his rat friend Buddy as two street-wise rodents planning a heist of a nut store.
Ria Westaway and Thom Chapman will produce.
The project will mark Lepeniotis’ feature directing debut, having already made a career for himself as an animator on such films as “Toy Story 2”, “Fantasia 2000” and “Dinosaur”.
