Jack O’Connell, John Boyega and Christian Cooke are all testing for THE SECRET SERVICE opposite Colin Firth. The project follows a veteran secret agent (Firth) who leads a young protege into the shadowy business.
Matthew Vaughn will produce and direct from a script he co-wrote with frequent partner Jane Goldman.
If I’m being honest I just want Boyega to get it because more Boyega makes me a happy person. He’s relatively new, but he absolutely owned his role as Moses in “Attack The Black.” He’s destined for greatness and I’m not saying this is it, but it probably wouldn’t hurt. He’ll next be seen in a drama called “Half of a Yellow Sun.”
O’Connell was last seen in “The Liability” and will next pop up in “300: Rise of an Empire.”
Cooke is best known for Starz’ “Magic City” but will next appear in “Destination Wedding” and (another) “Romeo & Juliet.”
O’Connell & Boyega are repped by CAA. Cooke is repped by WME.
