Warner Bros. TV is in the early stages of bringing FULL HOUSE back to television. Series creator Jeff Franklin will write the new version, with Bob Boyett and John Stamos involved in getting the show back on the air. Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are all attached to reprise their roles as D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy, while Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are also reportedly on board in some capacity.
The original series aired on ABC between 1987 and 1995 and followed single father Danny Tanner, his brother-in-law, and his best friend who all live together and raise Danny’s three daughters together. The sitcom has become a beloved cultural icon since its sindication and subsequent airing on Nick at Nite. Remember “Cut It Out” and “Have Mercy?” If this really happens, it will be the second show if its era to be recently re-discovered, following the reboot of “Boy Meets World” into “Girl Meets World” on Disney.
