Bernthal is in negotiations to play Dave Scott, who walked on the moon in July 1971 as part of Apollo 15, making him one of only a dozen men to have set foot on its surface. He was also a member of NASA’s 1969 Apollo 9 mission.
With the summer movie season ending this Labor Day, we now look ahead to the last four months of 2017 and what might be the highest grossers of the fall and holiday movie seasons.
It’s been a fun summer, taking a deep dive into each of the major studios, as well as the mid-majors and the biggest and more relevant indie distributors, but it’s probably fitting that we end with the company that is most certainly the biggest disrupter of them all: Amazon.

Lior Raz has joined Oscar Isaac in the thriller Operation Finale. Chris Weitz is directing the feature, described as in the vein of Argo and Munich. (Hollywood Reporter)
STXfilms has added Aidy Bryant, Sasheer Zamata, Lauren Hutton, Adrian Martinez, Busy Philipps, and Dave Attell in I Feel Pretty. They join star Amy Schumer and previously cast Michelle Williams, Rafe Spall, and Emily Ratajkowski. (Variety)
