Every year, The Young & Hungry List is compiled from across the industry, proudly detailing those writers currently making a name for themselves. Some are fresh to the industry and making their first big splash. Others are established veterans hitting their stride. All of them are running with heat!

Meticulously assembled from the collected votes of producers, executives, agents and managers, our list is a product of the wisdom and expertise of the industry’s most experienced professionals. Every year, more voters turn out to make their voices heard, making each list more comprehensive than the last. It is these pros who will nurture and support the nominated writers as they ride the buzz to success.

Since 2011, The Tracking Board has endeavored to compile this list with one goal in mind – to represent the “best of the best” of Hollywood’s collected shortlists. It is with enormous pride that we continue our tradition of identifying those writers moving most quickly towards a bright future.
