Jennifer Lawrence has surrendered her bow and arrow to cupid to star in the romantic dramedy based on the 2013 best-selling novel, The Rosie Project.
The book, written by Graeme Simsion, tells the story of Don, a geneticist determined to find his ideal mate. While searching for a wife that fits all of his scientifically suited criteria, he meets Rosie (Lawrence), who is the exact opposite of what his research has told him he should love.
The project was originally going to be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, but they have since backed down in order to take on a Star Wars project centering around a young Han Solo, and the search is on to replace the directors for this script, written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber.
