Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be in a voiceover recording session? Seems like a pretty painless way to make a buck, right? Well, if the reality of a voiceover session is anything like this video from Hog Butcher, guess again. Writer-director Tim Mason, a veteran of the Chicago comedy scene, “pulls back the curtain on the glamorous world of advertising” to expose the “gritty reality” of what it feels like to be a voiceover actor. Beth Melewski plays the poor soul who is dealing with hard-to-please producers and a potential personal tragedy. There’s just no other way to say it… this video is good.
