Thomas Kretschmann Can’t Wait To Exploit “Agent 47”

has joined the cast of opposite Rupert Friend, Zachary Quinto and Hannah Ware. Based on the popular video game series “Hitman,” the story follows a genetically-engineered, elite assassin known only as Agent 47 (Friend) who becomes conflicted by his conscience and unfamiliar emotions. Kretschmann will play the villain Le Clerq, the chairman of an organization called Syndicate International, which is hellbent on creating an army of unstoppable agents themselves.

Skip Woods and Michael Finch wrote the script that Aleksander Bach is currently directing. Charles Gordon, Alex Young and Adrian Askarieh are producing.

Kretschmann last appeared in “Stalingrad” and will soon turn up in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
