Tiffany Haddish Signs First-Look Deal With HBO

Girls Trip breakout star has signed a two-year first-look deal with HBO, the premium cable network announced Wednesday.

The new deal comes on the heel of the actress winning the New York Critics’ Circle’s Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Girls Trip – and making her acceptance speech go viral.

The actress will next star in The Last OG, opposite Tracy Morgan, premiering in April on TBS. She will follow that up with Night School opposite Kevin Hart in September.

Other upcoming projects include New Line’s The Kitchen, Universal’s The Temp, in which she stars and also executive prodocues, as well as Paramount’s Limited Partners, where she will also act as star and EP.

She recently released her book The Last Black Unicorn, which was a NY Times Bestseller, and is currently in the midst of her She Ready stand-up tour across the US.
