Sony’s adaptation of GOOSEBUMPS has added two more to its ever growing cast. Timothy Simons and Amanda Lund have signed on for the project which stars Jack Black as author R.L. Stein whose characters are unleashed, forcing him to save the town with the help of his niece and a new neighbor. Simons has been cast as an inept cop with Lund signed on to play his equally useless partner.
Simons is best known for his role on the HBO comedy series “Veep” opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus. He has also appeared in Summit’s sports drama “Draft Day.” Next up are comedic roles in Seth Rogan’s “The Interview” and Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Inherent Vice.”
Lund is known for her role in Sam Jaeger’s “Take Me Home” and the comedy “Someone Marry Barry” starring Tyler Labine. She’s currently gearing up for Craig Robinson’s NBC series “Mr. Robinson.”
