The MCU is locking in their long term plans as Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland has revealed he’s signed on to appear in six Marvel films.
“They give you options and those could be exercised whenever. Like a cameo in Avengers,” Holland says of how the MCU contracts operate. “I’m unclear as to which movies though. I do know I have three Spider-Man [appearances in other]movies and three solo movies contracted. But if you have another movie, Marvel is so good at working around it. They’re very respectful of your life, really. They understand that you have to work on other movies, and they try and fix it up so you can work around each other.”
Holland first appeared in the Marvel universe in the star-studded Captain America: Civil War, fighting on the side of Iron Man and Black Widow. The appearance became a fan favorite in the film. He will next be seen in his first solo film, Spider-man: Homecoming, next summer on July 7, and he will likely be seen in Avengers: Infinity War in 2018 as all the various Marvel heroes come together.
Holland has a busy schedule. In the midst of his Marvel commitments, he is also attached to The Current War and The Modern Ocean.
