Tracey Ullman Disguises Herself Before Heading “Into The Woods”

is in talks to join the already impressive cast of opposite Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, James Corden, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal. And the cast is still growing. The story intertwines fairy-tale characters (including Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood) with the story of a baker and his wife’s attempt to have a family. Ullman will play the mother to Jack the Giant Killer.

The project is based on the broadway play of the same name directed by James Lapine who also wrote the script. Rob Marshall will direct and produce with John DeLuca and Marc Platt.

Ullman is perhaps best known for (unless it’s just me) “The Show” and “Tracey Takes On..”, both of which aired on HBO. For those who can only view as far back as a couple years she created/writes/starred in Showtime’s “State of the Union” and did voice work for “The Tale of Despereaux”.
