The drama, which David Lowery penned and will helm, centers around an inmate who escapes from prison to reunite with his wife and his daughter, who he’s never met.
Mara has been on fire lately. She’s coming off the success of “Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” and has both of its sequels lined up. She will also be starring in the prohibition flick “Lawless” and is in talks to star in Spike Jonze’s upcoming untitled comedy.
Foster received critical acclaim for his performance as the villainous Charlie Prince in 2007’s western pic “3:10 To Yuma”. He has since appeared in the Sci-Fi horror film “Pandorum” and has the just wrapped “Kill Your Darlings” on the horizon.
Affleck, who’s appeared in the all three “Ocean’s” films, received high praise for his portrayal of Dennis Lehane’s Boston detective Patrick Kenzie in 2007’s book adaptation “Gone, Baby Gone”. He most recently appeared in “Tower Heist”.
Although the its unclear as to what roles the trio of thesps will be playing, this is shaping up to be a strong cast. All three have shown their acting chops in dramatic roles and could bring great dynamic to a film of this tone.
