The film, set in 2007, follows four hard-partying friends who try to enjoy their last semester of high school before going off to separate schools after graduation. Hale will play the glue of the group, a popular senior who with some control issues who flaunts her good-looks.

Lum, also known as “Awkwafina,” made a name for herself as a rapper gaining a cult following. She has appeared on MTV’s Girl Code and will next be seen in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.
