Jeremy Sisto has been cast in ABC’s WICKED CITY, replacing Adam Rothenberg. Sisto will portray series lead detective Jack Roth. Each season of the crime anthology series will be set in a different era of Los Angeles. The first season will premiere at 10 p.m. October 27 on ABC. Sisto is repped by Gersh and MGMT Entertainment.
Ron Livingston, Anna Camp, and Vincent Kartheiser are set to lead National Geographic Channel’s miniseries SAINTS & STRANGERS, which chronicles the trials and tribulations of the first settlers at Plymouth. Barry Sloane, Michael Jibson, Ray Stevenson, Natascha McElhone, Brian F. O’Byrne, Raoul Trujillo, Tatanka Means and Kalani Queypo also star. Paul Edwards will direct the series, which was produced by Sony Pictures Television and Little Engine Productions.
Nat Geo has released an official description for the series, stating: “101 men, women and children who sailed on a chartered ship for a place they had ever seen. Of this group, half were those we know as ‘Pilgrims,’ religious separatists who abandoned their prior lives for a single cause: religious freedom. The other, the ‘adventurers,’ were motivated by real-world material objectives as opposed to spiritual ideas.”
The Walking Dead star Emily Kinney has joined the cast of the Showtime series MASTERS OF SEX, for the upcoming third season. The 1966-set season will further continue to explore the complicated relationships formed by researching duo (Michael Sheen) and Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) during the forefront of the sexual revolution.
Kinney will take on the recurring role of Nora, a clever and gutsy young adult who volunteers to become a sex surrogate in the name of research. The anticipated third season debuts 10 p.m. on July 12, on Showtime. Kinney is repped by Paradigm and Anonymous Content.
